I am way behind on the list - thus the tardy reply... I spent a month in Australia in 2006. I found myself using my widest lens for capturing the immensity of the place. The other lens was my 77 for portraiture and available light.
I only got to visit Adelaide, Cairns, and the Outback (Uluru, Alice Springs, Kata Tjuta). I opted to not visit New Zealand to better get to know the places I did visit. I ate at a fantastic French restaurant in Cairns along with some excellent sushi. Who would have thought in a place like Cairns?
