I found a 400mm f5.6 lens in PK-A mount I can have for a song... But it's got some fungus growth on the 1st internal lens element from the front. I can't get the front element off to get in there and clean this sucker, so I am investigating what it'll cost to have the lens cleaned professionally. I just finished shooting a roll of film with this lens and am going to see how badly the fungus messes things up, but given that I can have the lens for less than $200 if a CLA costs more than like $50 or so, I'll wind up passing on this lens. Can anyone give me an idea cost-wise what this will cost? In case anyone cares, the lens is NOT a Pentax brand.
