CANON HAS THE MOST ADVANCED LENS MOUNT OF ALL
BECAUASE THEY DIDNT TRY TO REMAIN COMPATIBLE
WHEN THEY WENT AF, THEY STARTED FROM SCRATCH

You suddenly remind me of why I unsubbed a year ago.

If someone did switch to Pentax, what would your statement make them?  
In my personal opinion your quality judgements are very simplistic.  
There are lots of reason for choosing Pentax over Canon, like street  
photography with compact cameras with good wide angle primes. Canon can 
´t beat Pentax in that arena.

Try finding something like a K10D with DA21, or anything like a cheap  
50mm 1.4 (regardless of FOV) with image stabilization.  I know a few  
well informed photographers who have switched for those reasons.

In my humble opinion Canon is lost in oldfashioned technology. Nikon  
is passing them in the sales numbers.
