I have a couple of assignments coming up where a second camera will be helpful, so today I tested the K10D with the two DA* lenses. ARRRGGH!
It backfocuses severely. Now the lenses work fine on my K20D. Extremely fine, in fact. (Although I did have to ask for a replacement for the 16-50/ And I've heard that some K10Ds require a fix to work correctly with these lenses. Mine was ordered on day one, so it's certainly early production. So it's on its way to its maker. Hopefully, it will return fully capable of using these lenses. It had also developed a condition that caused it to be in multi-image mode even when it was set to single image. I could have lived with that, but since we're in the shop, I asked them to look at that as well.
