Wel, the D300 is something of a class-breaker, offering performance that exceeds the last-generation pro bodies (1DmIIN and D2Xs) for about what an *istD sold for when new. But it would be cool if Pentax brought out a K2D with most of the D300's features (I don't expect the 8fps, wicked fast AF or 2000+ shots per charge part, but the build quality, viewfinder and controls are eminently doable for Pentax) -- M.
