Thanks to everyone who commented. The barn is a shed. That little spot is a small garden right on the river, behind railings. It belongs to one of the houses on Ballast Quay (used to be Union Wharf - pic.4). It's a nice little spot which gets some lovely light on it at times, but it's often in shade.
