No. And personally I'm not sure the Pentax is actually better. However the photos from both appear essentially indistinguishable. And even compared to the Minolta 80-200/2.8 HS G which is the one that most people who are not brand fanatics think is the best, I can't tell the difference in the photos. Some differences in build quality between the Sigmas and the cameras makers but the Sigma APO and APO EX pro lenses are extremely well built. Especially compared to their consumer lens reputation.
