G'day all, Just picked up a SV with a 50 f1.4 lens. In previous discussions, there was a mention of the early 8 element 7 group. The lens is the 8 element lens and is in mint condition.
My original Spotmatic I bought new had the 55 f1.8 and I bought a used 50 f1.4 for sports photography. The lens was fabulous in doors but the contrast outdoors was ordinary. for that reason, I always preferred the 55 f1.8 as my "normal" lens. For the rest, the camera is in almost mint condition with no brassing. Included was a soft case in excellent condition. However, the second shutter is slow off the mark on slow speeds, and the frame counter does not advance. Based on the overall condition, it is off to C.R. Kennedy for a CLA.
