Hello Joe Depends on how bad it is and how much the repir would cost. I am BTW selling mine, since I have the K10D as backup for the K20D, now. I had my *ist D fixed for incorrect focusing. I believe I paid 300 USD for this. I could buy a used *ist D fo 400 USD. But at that time I had no upgrading plans.
