Thanks. The Solitary Sandpiper looks like a match. Although according  
to the Cornell map, he would be about 400 miles too far south. They  
show the Sandpipers only in the upper peninsula of Michigan. But he  
might be migrating and just stopped in to visit the Egret:-).
