I'm willing to take Scheider's word for it when they claim to have done more than just licensing the name, though. But what they are actually saying, is that some of the Samsung compacts have lenses developed by Schneider-Kreuznach, and that "many of" the Samsung SLR lenses were "developed in cooperation with Schneider-Kreuznach." They don't say which of the lenses they are talking about, of course, or how many exactly "many of" means, but it seems quite easy to point out to or three models for which there are no obvious Pentax equivalent. But actually, none of these seem to be listed any more on the Samsung site... > Even the exterior aesthetics is the > same (except a piece of rubber or two). BTW, do you happen to know if the Scheider/Samsung versions of Pentax lenses are SMC? - Toralf -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
