For weddings and portraits, I would like something closer to 24x36 (enough smaller that some sort of shake reduction can be had in body with 35mm format coverage lenses, perhaps 20x30mm), and 12-14 MP. This should give enough of an increase in pixel size to give better noise control than what we are seeing now, and enough pixels to allow large enough wall prints to be made. I really think it is important for Pentax to keep in body SR, as that is realy the only thing that sets their cameras apart from the herd. I'm not interested in building a fourth lens system, so any 645 mount DLSR is of zero interest to me, no matter how many megapixies they put into it.

Strange things happen: I agree with Bill.

Don't worry folks, I got it ;-)

I agree, too, BTW. It would be foolish for Pentax go try to make a full-on pro system camera like the 1D or the D3, but they do need something like a D700, A900 or D5. I expect we'll get it, though not for a while.
