I have a "baseball cap" with a tail, kinda like the hats those guys wore in the 1930s and 1940s French Foreign Legion movies for keeping the sun off, but rounded top instead of kepi style.
More often, I wear either a wool fedora, straw plantation hat, or one of our NutDriver.org baseball caps. Brims aren't a problem for photography if you position the hat on your head properly or the hat is easy to move around by pushing up on the brim while positioning the camera.
