Robert,

You didn't say what you would be using it for.  I have the FA *85 and
love it.  I have tested it quite a bit and find that it is ideal for
portrait work.  However, it does not perform as well as a general
pupose lens.  At infinity focus, it is not sharp until stopped down to
at least f8.  My understanding of the 77 limited is that it makes for
a better general purpose lens and is about on par for portraits.  So,
unless you need the 1.4 versus 1.8 speed, the 77 limited is probably
the better choice.
