The pose and BW conversion seem ok to me, but the hanging lamp in the background is a distraction YMMV.

No doubt the effect you chose was explained in your post, but the flat featureless glare will distract some. What she likes, of course, has to be considered.

I have just finished all of my developing for the Christmas
book(blurb) i'm doing for some of the
family members.(the Simpson side) and i had a hard time
with Erins
face in this one.
She is blond and very light complextion, and has a red face
a lot of times.
I did not like what i was getting so i B&Wed this one.

K10D, 16-45 and 360 flash in bounce mode.
LR 2.1 adjusted and cropped.
