Serious fringing problem -- I'm POed

I'm pissed. I can't believe this camera and lens can produce this kind  
of junk. Blue fringe on the tree branches. Soft overall. Hard to find  
to focus point. Take a look:

You pay fifty bucks for a phone, you would think it could take a  
decent photo.
