So, I assisted a friend at a wedding today. He brought his wife along, who is also accomplished in this field.
Officially, I was the light donkey.
Anyway, we got done what we needed the Genies for, so I had moved them aside, and was in the process of packing up. At some point, another wedding had started shooting in the location we had just vacated. I was gathering equipment, when I noticed the other photographer was doing her wedding with a Canon Rebel of some sort (which isn't germaine, but I like to take cheap shots when I can), what looked like the starter zoom and the built in flash for illumination.
Yes folks, that's right, the built in flash.
The gathering process took me into close proximity to a couple of the groomsmen from the other wedding. One of them asked me why we had so much equipment onsite (a couple of D300s, the Genies, 2 metx handlemounts, several lenses, 3 people, you get the picture), when their photographer was just using the camera and built in flash.

I just didn't know what to say........

I probably stood there looking at him for five seconds before I mustered this gem:
"Im sure your pictures will be just fine".
