I'd have to agree. I've owned the 16-45 when I had my K100D and found it to be excellent overall. The only reasons I didn't buy another one when I bought back into Pentax in 2007 was the fact the Sigma 17-70 was a full stop faster at the wide end and significantly (about 20%) cheaper at the time. -- M.
