What was the venue?
I actually came face to face with one back in the 70's during the running of
the Press on Regardless ralley in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. What a
wonderful sound of it bellowing off the trees in the deep woods!

This is not the first time I notice strange behaviours such as sharp
details and blurred ones when panning from near (Paul's cars come to
mind), but I find these shots interesting enough to point out here.
