Hi Brian: I like the color best: nice composition, great sky, but I agree with Jack's comments about detail in the Poplars. Cheers, Christine

Subject: PESO - Poplars

G'day all

These Lombardy Poplars along a drainage channel caught my eye a year or
so ago. They had not yet come into new leaf and the trunks and branches
took on a silver/gold appearance in the late afternoon light.

Image processing disclosure - cropped top and bottom, mainly because of
a dark shadow in the foreground. Some cloning along the bottom edge,
due to the same shadow. Slight boost to contrast.

I thought the trees might look good in black and white. This is mainly
the
red channel.

Comments and suggestions most welcome.

Cheers

Brian
