Frankly, I found a shot on your smugmug page that I like a lot better than any of these - and it's unusual cause I'm not
a big fan of cute little kid shots :-) - it is this one:

sweet expression and good all around technically/geometrically.
If I have to pick from these :

Meercat by a mile for me - He has heart..
BUT I'd crop about hmmmm well if this were a 6 inch tall shot, about 1 inch off the top.. too much space above
his head distracts.
.
2nd Humming bird - but black and white would be fine for this, since you mention struggling with the sepia.. the humming bird has the most interesting "geometry" but there are little specs of stuff around that I'd want to get rid of.
(note bottom left bar)

The grapes bother me because they look like well, green maggots... looks like they are in a glass.. but it is a well done photo technically... do you have more space around the glass? so that you see it is a glass holding grapes?

The closeup of the branch is in last place for me -- The butterfly is next to last -- I can't quite explain why.. a bit too fussy .

Yeah - it is really hard to chose from recently done stuff...
Hope this helps and sorry it is late... I'm just coming back into life after long cold virus

Took forever to narrow it down this much. Hardest bit of editing I've had to do all year. The hummingbird one is supposed to look sepia toned, but the Photoshop sepia filter doesn't help for shit, and this is the closest I could get. Probably too yellow.

If you have an opinion on which one or two are best, I'd be immensely grateful. I'm a terrible editor, especially with recent photos taken recently.

Thanks,
John
