Just had this pop into my head, after looking at Franks subway series. A number of years ago, i watch a Dateline, or 20Minutes, type of show, and they did an article on a cab driver in NYC, that took photos from his window of the city and inhabitants. Some were on the fly, and some when stopped in traffic.
Apparently he had 1000's and 1000's of shots, and the ones they showed looked great. Any one remember that or know if he's still around, doing this.
