With some effort, I could go back ('prox 100 miles round trip) and either take an 8' orchard ladder I bought just for such things or get lower by sliding down a fairly shallow ditch bank. I'll probably just try to ignore it, now that its been mentioned. ;) Thanks for constructive comments.
