I think I'd like to see the dark of the trees a little lighter so you
can see more detail in the leaves and grasses in that area. Also, as
Jack mentioned, more contrast between the greens and yellows in the
grasses in the foreground. I messed with it a little with some dodging
and burning and came up with this...

Anything that would increase contrast between the flax colored grass and the
greener undergrowth would help. Yes, I have the proverbial 'flare for the
obvious.' Maybe punch up the yellow and reduce the green??
Like the overall tone.
