Id say $350 is a little too high, these
never peaked at much more than $250-$300
on ebay and prices are still kinda weak now.

BUT, if you keep an eye on new lens prices, they
are getting way up there, so $350 may not be
too high. 

The lens is excellent from what I recall but
not as good or compact as the M* and A* versions
that followed but those are selling at $500-$600.

The K300/4 worked very well on film, I've not tried it on digital, it's
a big lens to hand hold and has no tripod collar.

Hey Folks,

I just noticed a K 300/F4 lens in excellent condition in a local store.
My wife does bird photography and this lens might be a nice lens to
bridge the 200mm and 500 mm lenses I have that she uses.

Yes, it is very manual, etc., but does $350 seem to be a reasonable
price for this lens? Any comments on its performance? We'd be using this
on our digital camera bodies.
