Thibouille, can you point me to it, please? I've been saying for a
while that a well=placed LED would be great to add as an AF assist
lamp.

Of course some of the 'specs' are imaginary.
So far what seems to be sure:
Updated K20D CMOS Sensor (6400 ISO, Better DR, Better SR)
HD Video
Also there was a shot of the opened BIF and it had 4 leds top of the flash.
Probably for the video, but if it's going to use it and not the flash...
then I am happy.

Those specs are fantasy as for informations I could get from
supposedly reliable sources (1/8000 etc.)
But a bunch of those should get their way into that new body indeed.

For a starter:

Some infos that may be fake or not (and my comments):
14ish Megapixels (enough for me... if it's full frame... :D)
Max 6400 ISO with low noise (I found ISO3200 useable on K20D... so
fingers
crossed)
Speed: 5pps (just like someone whished :D)
huge and bright viewfinder (if it's K20D like... I am happy :D)
Better sealing (official astronaut cam? the K10D already survived very
high
attitudes :D)
Live view aaaand *drumroll* HD Video! (Trends... *sighs*)
Better SR (without firmware :D)
Better High Dynamics Range
Better 77 area metering
Better AF (it's time...)
3" LCD with 920000 pixels
1/8000 and x-time: 1/250 (just in time... f1.4 in sunny weather hellllo!
:D)
Starting price EUR 1500 (Soon you can find my kidney and other 'useless'
parts on Ebay :D)
If it's real (and why shouldn't?) then it seems the Kx00D and Kx0D series
will be retired and K-m and KxD series will be born. Let's wait the end
of
May... but it's promising as of now :D
