Kent, I don't understand why you consider it shilling when one publicizes that he has posted an item at auction. It's shilling only if he enlists someone to bid up the price with no intention of being the final buyer. That's not the typical PDML poster's intention at all; he just wants to give his fellow list members a fair crack at owning the item without selling himself short.
