On the drive to GFM, we pass thru Elizabethton, NC..
It's a long old town strung out along 321 and the river.
Last year I noticed this factory.
This year I got some pictures of it in homage to Ralf's work.

In its heyday, it probably was lit up at night the way Ralf's mills and
factories are. Looks like it may be getting some kind of renovation,
maybe adaptive reuse.
But IIRC, by the time you get to Elizabethton you're in Tennessee.
