But, unfortunately, the AF/MF clutch in the F* does not work in the same way it does in FA lenses. In the latter, when you disengage AF in the lens, it also switches off the AF motor in the camera body (Z series and up), but with the F* 300 mm. 4.5, you also need to put the AF switch in the camera in "manual" position.
