Hubba, Hubba, Paul. Great pic. Nice portrait and visual memory of a time past. It's a keeper. :-) Cheers, Christine

I was looking for a negative tonight. Never did find the shot I was searching for, but I ran across this self portrait from the summer of 1976. I vaguely remember setting up a tripod and shooting it myself with my Mamiya 1000 TL and 50 mm lens. Tri-X I'm sure. The race car was the Fever Vette fuel funny car that I wrenched. I think I shot this after an event. It looks like I'm checking the fuel percentage with a hydrometer, which I did prior to every run and again after the last pass of the day. I think I knew my racing days were coming to a close, and I wanted a memento. I don't think I ever printed it. Perhaps I will now.
