Works for me.
Leaving in the part you took out, puts the image in a more or less a snap category.

The revised image, nowing what you were working with, has more of a crafted feel to it where all aspects of the image was studied before the shutter was released.,

It has been a while since posting any pesos.  Today my son showed his
first interest in really doing some photography.  He had a P&S super
zoom camera, but I loaded him up with a K10D and had him try a few
lenses.

After work and dinner we took a walk to the park and took pictures.
