Most private aircraft are not built for much stress, so I would not want nor expect a pilot of one to pull any exceptional G forces. The FAA "load limits" for standard aircraft are Positive 2.5 to 3.8, Negative 1.0 to 1.52. Transport aircraft are lower numbers in negative Gs (1.0).
Utility aircraft slightly higher (4.4 to 1.76).
Acrobatic can sustain 6.0 to negative 3.0.

When a range is given, it means depending on the manufacturer's design and the aircraft's intended use.

If you don't fly much, a private plane at 2.0 G feels like the wings are gonna break off.
