I don't know if I can add much to what Kent said, but I have one and
use it as my main tele . . .  I also bring it along in my bag with my 50
if I want a 'close-focus' kit that is lightweight.

   I used to have a k-mount macro extension tube that telescoped, but my
brother has that right now . . . I think I may have to buy another soon.
