No, It's fine actually. This is the kind of thing I used to do in the RSE raw converter. It was a lot more subtle than Pentax Photo Lab. I have to use the Curves tool in Photoshop more aggressively.

PJ, as with "After the Fall V" I took the liberty of downloading this image and
knocking down the glare. In this case, however, I didn't ask beforehand. Hope it's OK.(?)
Will be the last of so doing.

So to pick up where my previous
narrative left off. While I was pretty happy with the
composition of the last image, (with the unwitting help of
three innocent bystanders), I wasn't particularly happy with
the exposure. It was a bit under exposed. So I
returned to the beach about a half hour later hoping the
chairs would still be there and still be unoccupied. They were and I decided to get a bit closer. Taking a
few different exposures I captured this, a bit over
exposed...

BTW the round thing the girl is holding isn't a ball it's a
straw hat, unfortunately the detail gets lost in the web
sized image.

Equipment: Pentax K20D w/vmc Vivitar Series 1 35-85mm
f2.8 varifocus

Notes: Minor crop, about 5-10% to eliminate a couple
of distracting figures near the left edge and a couple of
distracting boats too close to the top edge of the image.
