Wow. And I thought the past was in black-and-white.

What chemistry did he use to create the final images? None of the sites describes that.

According to the Wiki article, he projected the 3 negatives simultaneously with appropriate colored lights to display his images.

His printed images were done using a photogravure - they were not chemical prints.
