I like it in color, as it is... but it might be interesting to turn it to landscape orientation and maybe tone down a couple of the boldest highlights...
can't answer why you find it interesting - but I find it so too
In an odd way it reminds me of the signpost thing on the Alaskan Highway.

A couple weeks ago I took this picture of the same pole using my pocket camera (Fuji F30).

I am not sure why I find this so interesting...

One downside of attempting to photograph it is that you need to stand in traffic to do so. Maybe that's why I haven't given it enough time.

Missed this one ... great abstract detail shot. I really like it. It reminds me of Aaron Siskind's urban detritus shots. You might try high contrast b&w, Charles.
