Yes and no - I think it is a good thing that these days kids are
encouraged to protect themselves and not be naive potential victims
yet on the other hand too much of that can cut into their childhood
which they have a right to enjoy, too... tough call...
The fact is, six out of seven child molestations are done by either family
members or friends of the family. The lone photographer on the street
representing a threat is a Hollywood plot device foisted upon us by the
authorities who can gain power by keeping society paranoid.
A big camera is visible, so we make fairly easy targets.
What is scary is that this level of paranoia is being brainwashed into our
children.
