nice shot, too. the interval must be less than 1/25 of a second because the pre-flash cannot be discerned with the naked eye. I would assume though that flies use higher eye to brain frame rates than us humble humans. if you use (I assume you don't) 2s remote or 3s MLU remote relase however, pre-flash is fired on timer start.
