I'm sure this is the truth for 95% of the people who want the 645D,
there's no way I could justify the cost but I could pull a rabbit out
of the hat for a FF DSLR. I'd bet that a large number of Pentax DSLR
owners who currently poo poo the idea of a FF Pentax DSLR would end up
purchasing one if it were available because it will be far more
attainable than the 645D. No one needs to make excuses for Pentax,
they can work out how to do it because it needs to be done. The 645D
has been a monumental waste of development capital let alone an
industry joke given its repeated lack of appearance.
