Here's a little hint:
If you want a cat that will hunt squirrels, get one from a rural area.
Farm cats hunt ground prey, city cats hunt birds as a semi general rule.
While cats may not be stupid (though this is pretty debatable I don't think they are especially smart), they don't seem capable of changing their prey habits.
