I've been complaining about my fairly new and little used DA 18-250 not being able to auto focus and that it apparently was stopped down continually.
Yesterday I had a moment of time waiting to meet some friends at the bottom of the road, so I took it out amd tried it again. Same issue. I took it off the camera, brain kicked in, and I manually actuated the aperture lever and saw the diaphram open and close. Hmm. Put it back on the body and it works like new. What's up do you think? Just stuck?
