I have no experience on that particular bag, but I have the highest regard for Tamrac. I had a bag of theirs that I damaged, not only did they repair it for free but they upgraded it while doing the repair.

I currently have a Tamrac backpack (757) about 13 years old that has been to hell and back and except for a scuff or two on some of the leather attaching patches, it still looks great and does all I need it to do.

Subject: Tamrac Summit - opinions sought [Scanned]

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of buying a new camera bag, something in the size of the Tamrac Summit. I need a backpack as I occasionally travel by motorcycle, don't need room for a laptop/notebook but do need fiting for a large Manfrotto tripod with Gimbal head, peferably weatherproof. Opinions sought on the Tamrac Summit and alternatives aprreciated.

TIA

John
