With the discussion of the (very fine) Pentax-A 70-210/4, there's also the inexpensive option of the Sears (Kiron?) 80-200/4, which is well-though- of in this group, and commonly selling for about $50. In addition, KEH has a Tokina 80-200/2.8 AT-X for $199. A bit more money, but a significant- bit more lens.
