I may as well ask this question now. Nate and I are going to need someone to shoot our wedding, and who better to ask first than friendly PDML-ers? :) The wedding will be in Southold, NY, on Long Island's North Fork, about 2 hours from NYC.
We're looking for someone who can do both B&W and color. We'll have the requisite posed shots, but we're more interested in candids. And we want to be able to keep the negatives. We don't have a firm date or a venue for our wedding yet, but it's going to be in late September-early October 2002. Please reply off-list if you or someone you know would be interested in shooting our wedding. It doesn't even have to be someone who's shot a lot of weddings. To be honest, most of the wedding photographers whose stuff I've looked at online has been pretty boring.
