I've been contemplating closing my Facebook account from the moment I reluctantly joined. I've never liked it, mainly because I feel it creates a privacy and security concern. A multitude of friends is a good thing, but online prudence is certainly called for, and it seems Facebook increases the possibility of 'false friends' infiltrating their way into one's network of both friends and family.
Aside from that I never use it and more often than not have specific communication to individuals as opposed to groups, even among family members. So if you're currently linked to me on Facebook, don't be offended if I've never accepted an invitation or when I go bye-bye. Tom C.
