What seems to be popular as far as racing style goes is a nod to the great

You don't see very much lycra in town any more. The only time I see it is
when I'm out in the country on a Sunday morning and it goes whizzing past at
enormous speed - people who are seriously into the cycling, rather than the
look, and do 85 miles before lunch - it takes me twice as long to do half
the distance. That chap in the picture could be a world champion for all we
now, but his stuff doesn't look as though it's ever seen a drop of sweat.
