I've been through the book four or five times now and so far the best in
show for me is probably "Lee Creek Dam by Moonlight" from Ted Beilby.
I just really like it a whole bunch.
Good Job dude.
Mine arrived today and have just flipped through it. Very excellent,
folks. (That's as effusive as I get) The only downside would be the
literalness of many of the titles.
That just seems to me to be a standard photographic practice. All the
artists do it, young and old. Hell, check out Carl Weese here ...

Picture of a drive-in theatre sign with "Pike" on it: "The Pike
Drive-in". Or a rock in a stream: "Rock in Stream".
We're just rolling with the role models. :-)
Eckehard's made me laugh out loud,
for which a big thumbs up.
I had the same response to "Sword Swallower's Memorial". Brilliant!
As for the other titles, my only issue is that some of them were
rather *long*. Literal is OK by me if you keep it short. :)
OK, next year's theme, or meme: *really* long non-literal titles. Who
can create the longest? (I'm guessing Bob W if he manages to find a
suitable Pentax to shoot with.)
Let's see if we can force Mark to resort to 6-point type. :-)
