That is what I thought, too, but then I decided, hey wait a moment the smc DA* 60-20/4 has to be Pentax's new offering to both close another focal length gap in their 16-17-18-45-50-55-70 millimeter range and at the same time assure backwards compatibility with that range for the 60-250, hence the reversed notation and the special zoom-out design. Ken Rockwell praised its innovative design with dedicated focal length and focus rings instead of stupid menus.
