Bill and I share a bit of special friendship because, as some know or
don't, we (our families) met in Canada five years back for 3 or 4 days
in British Columbia on a camping trip, and then Bill stayed at my
house for two days several years later.
Each time we meet it's an instant friendship renewed, as if no time
has passed.
