Sigma says that AF and SR won't function on "film SLR, Pentax ist*
series and K100D DSLR cameras" (which includes MZ/ZX cameras under the
film SLR definition). However, that's ambiguous in that it's unclear
if neither of those functions will work for those cameras, or that
both functions can't be used simultaneously but one or the other can
be used alone. Of course, the omission of film SLRs which
nevertheless are Powerzoom capable could be an oversight.
